search by genre, title, artist, your own

custom-built playlists or other criteria. You

can even search through your entire

collection using the virtual keyboard built

into the interface to spell out titles or

search keywords.

If you don’t have control system access in

every room, that’s OK. MAX offers easy to

use on-screen navigation on your TV or

video display so you can browse your MAX

library using the included hand-held

wireless remote control. This solution offers

the same search functionalities as the touch

panel interface and also includes a built-in

DVD/CD player.

For MAX management through your

personal computer, use WinMAX, the

Windows®-based software that gives you

instant access to advanced administrative

features and tools. You can organize

content, add search keywords, record

DVDs/CDs directly onto the server, create

and customize playlists, bookmark

chapters/tracks, set parental controls,

monitor AVP zones and manage many

other MAX features.

Automatically Detects and Protects

As network traffic increases, it is essential that IP network switches provide priority to time-

sensitive content such as audio/video streams. AMX’s Managed Ethernet Switches

automatically detect and protect A/V streams coming from MAX servers, with no special

configuration required.

Both switches support massive amounts of shared data on local and worldwide networks,

preventing jitters, skipped frames and audio distortions caused by congested IP networks.
