KNX-Interface for IR control

Short note: With an easy handling device IR units can be integrated directly in

the KNX ambience. The new module offers the possibility to control IR units via

4 IR ports directly from the KNX bus. An RS-232 interface to control professional

devices is also integrated. Up to 64 IR commands, 32 macros and 32 RS-232

commands can be deposited in the module. Additionally the commands can be

supported with a „Delay After” time to fulfill needs like powering upon cooling

down a video projector. With the integrated IR learning systems nearly all sys-

tems can be controlled.

Short note: The NK gateways connect the EIB/KNX bus with an IP network. They

have a HTTP and FTP server on board and come equipped with a 104 datapoint

visualisation. This built-in visualisation can be viewed directly with a standard web

browser without any additional configuration. Any required settings are performed

via ETS (group addresses / datapoint types / IP addresses), or within the visuali-

sation itself using a browser (button labels/page headings/page links). Optionally,

thanks to the integrated web server, the visualisation can be easily extended and

its functionality enhanced. In this way the NK permits you to create a network

enabled visualisation simply with ETS and a web browser, so without the need for

any additional software tools. Via an external coupling of the (LAN) network to

Internet through a router, the NK can now also be controlled per remote Internet

access.
